Infidelity Support Group
Any relationship in which one partner engages willfully in sexual relations with another outside of the partnership is considered to have experienced infidelity. This breach of trust is often traumatizing for the faithful partner as well as the relationship, and support is often needed to heal emotionally and to decide whether or not the relationship should continue after...
Why they do what they do is a complete mystery to me and all the other BS on this site.
Sending support your way!
This is pure selfishness on his part . Understand you must decide for him - at this point he cannot. Do you want to save your marriage? Get divorced?? Get individual counseling, you will need to be in control of your emotions - literally become a stone face. If you show him too much emotion, he will not be able to handle it. The other woman becomes much more attractive. A smile will confound your enemies, or make friends feel good.
Either way...hold your head up! Do what makes you feel great - exercise, journal, pray, get a massage or facial. Take care of yourself first...YOU are the most important, not the skank!
Also get financial counseling - free in most areas. divorce is like putting yourself through a blender....you may come out like mush or a delicious shake. Remember: Marriage is about love...divorce is about business.
Sending you hugs and prayers! Stay strong!
As said, there are so many varied reasons, they lie, probably as many pennies as there are in a dollar!
A few come to mind:
They hope that we are that stupid, or they think we are, which then, presumes they have a superiority complex.
They think they'll never get caught!
They wanna be married and have some "fun", which they may think or call "harmless", and still have ssome on the side.
So they want their cake, and to "eat it too".
They think they are entitled to whatever, crap, it is, and justify it in their minds.
And finally, ....
They have a huge character defect, or personality issue (narcissistic maybe), but certainly lack strong moral fiber, lack integrity, do not value the truth, do not value honesty in a relationship, and are shallow, worthless, cheating, lieing, people.
Need I say more?
selfish people who want more,
and do more, in the outside world
with more people, they shouldn't be doin it with,
And then only make matters worse, by lieing more,
Cheating more,
Sneaking more,
all because they are "less than" (honest)!
So before I was driving by where they both work and I see skanks car...I was actually told she wasn't working there any longer...
I decided to go in and make them squirm a little bit..lol...
This place is a restaurant...I walk in and skank sees me with terror in her eyes..She looks at me and I say"you know what I want"..She keeps walking away..The hostess comes over and I ask to see my husband..he is a cook there...
He comes out and says to me"did you come to make a scene". I said no actually I was going to the DMV but they were too busy so I decided to come see you...That was the truth .
He was so nervous with me there..So then the owner comes over and gives me coffee and such and I introduce my self and tell him I was his wife..He says" I didn't even know he was married"..I said that doesn't surprise me...The whole restaurant knows now they are having an affair...But you know what" I handled myself with class and dignity and kept it all professional...This was my last stand to show them both that I will be OK...
He stuck like glue to me while I was there..I think he was afraid of what I would say to skank or his boss.....
I know they had plans to meet today, so maybe I scared them just a bit..haha...
I know I am going to be ok..and am happy I did what I did..
Liars just lie. It's what they do.
On this? Trust me. You don't need their confession to divorce the fool clown and take back your life. Proof is proof is proof.
Sending you support, L~
Liars lie just as easily as they breathe....it is a part of their genetic makeup. Second nature, they just do.
Never exerienced it as much as I have, but my ex and his new girl are welcome to enjoy their lives together.
I know that my life may not be as glamourous or as jetsetting, but at least I know that I do not have to worry about his crap anymore!
I am with Char here. I think that was one of the hugest reliefs in the divorce - not having to deal with his lies, lies, and more lies. Like a wieght off my back. And off my mind.
L~
So, they're conditioned to deny, because when they tell the truth, they have to explain things. They know that we're not going to be happy with, "Yes, I cheated." We're going to ask more questions, because it's our nature to know what's going on.
But have any of you ever had a CS try to interrogate you about a suspected indiscretion? They want to know EVERYTHING. You see, they can dish it, but they absolutely CANNOT take it!
