My husband cheated on me with my best friend, he moved in with her and told me last night that he loves her and wants to stay with her. The problem is that my 8 year old is best friends with her 10 year old. She only lives a few streets away. They go to the same school so I know that they will see each other there and that they will talk. They told her kids that he loves her now and that he moved in. How do I tell my kids? How much info do I give her? Do I tell her that he loves Mrs. Julie now? My other 2 kids are 2 and 3 month so I know they wont understand a lot.But my 8 year old is the one I worry about. I made my husband tell our children without my help. They are much older teenagers. So they understand what an affair is. I wanted him to see the damage without it being sugar coated. I knew if I was in the room when he told them they would feel they needed to be strong for me. Without me there they were able to tell him what they were really feeling.
