My CS chose the person we were selling a house to as the OW. Needless to say, it's complicated the situation to be carrying a mortgage for the OW. She gave us both a story about terminal cancer after my CS ended the relationship, and of course, not knowing what was happening and feeling horrid for this poor single mom, I let her slide on the payments. After DDay, both my husband and I learned that the cancer was a bullshit story, so finally, I got her evicted after nearly a year of non-payment.

Today we took a deep breath and went to the house to change the locks and see what had to be done.

Dear God. I should have expected her to act like the trash she is, but neither my husband or I were ready for what we found.

At least 6 months worth of dog crap all over the house. Doors broken. All light fixtures damaged or removed. Carpeting ruined. Garage door destroyed. Furnace broken. Holes in walls.

Wow, what a mess! There's got to be some kind of legal action you can take against her... lying to you to get sympathy, no payment for a year, and damage to the property... that is just wrong on so many levels!

I would normally suggest taking her to court, but in this case.....be glad she is gone.

There is a silver lining in all of this.

There can be little doubt in your H's mind what kind of person she is.

The fantasy has been completely shattered.

That is freaking disgusting! I would take her to court for the non-payment, fraud, and for damaging your property.

What was your husband thinking? That's one of the worst things I have ever seen. Seriously- looks like one of the houses featured on hoarders. I think that someone must have to have some mental problems to be okay living like that. I can't imagine the smell, gross!

So sorry, I'm so glad for you that she is gone and not part of your lives anymore!

Your H must be so proud that he chose to involve himself with this kind of woman - but then again, this is exactly the kind of single woman who goes after married men.

I'm sure your H will have plenty of time to think about it while he's cleaning up the house and fixing the damage she did. Sort of ironic, huh?

We're actually both going there tomorrow with some friends to do one massive clean out/repair. I need to start 2012 with this behind me, and it would take him a month of Sundays to do it alone.
