You say you have 2 kids though. I know in the zombie stage it's hard to even survive the day but ur kids need their mom. Stop cutting urself please seek help as in individual counseling asap.
Give urself some time it's really fresh you can read up about the stages of the proces after finding out as there's a lot more emotions to come in the next few weeks sadly.
Indeed get STD tested.
Stay strong for ur kids do what feels good for you right know but not the cutting. Hope you find a counselor soon it helped me a lot after I found out
You need to choose healthy coping strategies as people have mentioned. Get counseling for yourself, eat/exercise, get enough sleep, and don't do anything self destructive such as cutting.
It gets better but you need to be healthy in order to help this process go forward. Don't make any major decisions about anything until you are in a better place.
Many of the people on this forum have gone through this. Sadly it is a more common experience than I thought before ending up here myself.
Things will improve after the initial shock wears out.
