So today is 7 weeks since dday. Thanks to all ya'll who have helped me see I'm only a little crazy :), and I am not alone. I realized last Thursday at 6 weeks, that I was anxious, irritable, grumpy, panicky, and downright scared. Skin crawling. Easily aggitated......dawned on me a few min ago that it's Thursday again.( Kinda lose track with kids out of school and H off work)
guess I need to be very aware of the day it is, and how I am responding to those around me.. And pray that this weekly dday anniversary breakdown doesnt last forever,,, I mean big anniversary, ok,, but weekly,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,sigh
Anyway, thanks all for your advice, pats on the back, and tough love. I apologize for anything I may have said to hurt anyone else's feelings.

These horrible reminders serve a function.....it desensitizes us.
It will begin to diminish as u make it through each of them.

agree with the others, the triggers and dates will continue for a while, even a specific day of the week, but eventually that will fade as you heal and move farther away from all of it. I still remember the 2nd D-day from my marriage but only because I like to use it as a measure of where I've been and what I've done since that time.

You are doing well, keep putting one foot in front of the other.

Yikes, Kansas...this will get better. It will. It's kind of like 'how the HELL did I make it thru this WEEK feeling like this?????' And man, I remember feeling like that too - like I would give anything just to crawl outta my skin so I would not hurt.

Understand how you feel. Have you tried journaling? I have found it helpful, when I am struggling to take stock of the journey and just how far I have come in dealing with this. It calms me down and sometimes reminds me of the new coping skills I have used effectively before but may have for forgotten. Sending hugs!

Oh, Kansas, girl, we understand, more than we care to admit, but we sure do.

No apologies needed in my book. I haven't seen you deliberately hurt anyone, whatsoever....with the exception if someone is lashing out at you, then it's on them. I have found you to be extremely supportive, and wonderful on here! And funny, too! You are good in my book, and thanks for al the time you have spent, commenting, and uplifting others! You rock, girl!

And sending you support, too, cuz we all need it , and sometimes are afraid to ask for it!!!!

Ride the wave. Remember, this crap is a process. That means there will be steps forward and step backwards....then forward again. Frequency lessens.

When I first started here, I think I also offended a few ppl. I was just so hurt and sometimes lashed out. This was ususally toward a CS or the OW/OM. I was told by all that time is needed to feel better and it is so true. I am actually able to function again and don't feel the constant waves of depression.This has only been recently as I am 3 mos out now. Oh man, and that Reid guy.... he was so easy to be hatin' on!! LOL.

Kansas, I think you are funny and honest. You are a tell it like it is girl and I like it. Don't change!! I forget, are you in R? If so.... How are things going now?

Thanks everyone for your support. Lis, yes we are in R. Going well I think, have had 2 sessions with mc,, only been 7 wks since dday, so I'm a bit umm scatter brained right now :)
