when my h cheated on me the first time, or counselor worked must on Mr issues and how it negatively impacted H who choose to have an affair.

obviously if we'd worked more on his ability to make that decision that his compulsion to cheat is mute important than a marriage, perhaps I wouldn't have been created on for the past six years.

cheaters, WHY do you make that decision? I don't think I'll ever understand.

Great article.. When I use to internalize why he could do this, or use it to tell my self how worthless I was, and unwanted too. But when I heard, then listen, then really heard it, and came to understand and accept, and believe, His cheating had little to do with me, and everything to do with him. If he even gave me a quick thought before engaging in his behaviour. He would tell everyone and himself whatever he needed to make it ok. But when I figured out what they mean by it has nothing to do with me, its all on him, no matter what way you feel, it wasn't mine to own. That is freeing!!
