Good article....I am not one to seek revenge, but I am a huge advocate of "the best revenge is living well"...

I have to disagree with the article. I think the best revenge you can get on the OW is to let her have your cheating spouse. After all the best gift you can give a cheater is another cheater, right?

There are aspects of the article that I don't agree with either. I thought that telling OW's H was respecting his right to know what was happening to his marriage. As I told OW, if she did not inform him, I would. Had I wanted real revenge I would not have given her the opportunity to fess up and there by, look a lot more honest than she actually was/is. Before her H was informed about the A she kept showing up in our lives for months after H dumped her. It was very painful for me and I thought she should be involved in her own marriage and not ours, so I gave her an ultimatum. Considering the damage that such people do to families, it is a shame that they seldom pay any price for their treachery, but that's the way it is I guess.

I am all about revenge. The minute I was told about my stbx's little phone line - don't you think I didn't TELL EVERYONE I knew! As far as the OW. Don't know who it is yet, but in time it will come out and she will look as bad as my stbx. I will make sure of it. The best revenge for me is knowing other people think of a cheater as the POS they really are. :-)

Oh and if/when I find out this OW is married and in a relationship - it would give me great pleasure to call and chat with her husband/boyfriend.

I have yet to disclose my story in this forum, but as far as revenge...let me say, like many I also wanted to confront the OW at first. All I have is a name and number and that she works with H. But after the initial anger toward her started sinking in, I was able to think a little more clearly and realized that I wont contact her at all. H immediately told her it was over the day after I discovered what happened. It took her 18+ months for her to be where she was in the Affair with him, she knew about me from day 1. BUT to my benefit, the day after I found out about her, she was HISTORY and the A was ended.

"More power to me"!!! Now to confront her, see who she is, seek revenge on her would only give her "power" and I will never do that. Why let her think that she is winning because "well if they are still talking about me then I still have a chance" is what she will think. No one, not even H has the choice anymore of how my future turns out, only I HAVE that control with Gods help. No one will ever have that much power over my marriage or myself again, I choose what happens from here on out... and the OW definitely has NO Say So in any part of it. I wont give her the satisfaction of thinking that H or myself even thinks about her, let alone wants revenge. Karma will be my revenge, what goes around comes around, and hers is still going to find her.

I don't wish the other woman any ill will. She had know way to know the ex was married and he told her so many lies. He wiped me out of company records except for benefits. He wss working overseas on temp jobs and told her he was divorced. None of this was her fault and I put the blame on him.
