I know that there are several websites where one can report cheaters - some as all inclusive as having photographic and/or email proof, the cheater's name, and their location.
Is there any benefit to these types of sites and those types of actions? When I was at my most heightened state of vindictiveness, I considered putting info about both the Huz and the OW, but decided it wasn't worth the lash back and was counter produtive to what I really want. However, these sites tote themselves as being like public service announcements to ward off others to making the same mistake.
So, multiple questions here;
1) are these sites actually beneficial (in general) - and if so, in what way(s)?
2) to those who have been betrayed and left their CS: will you look at sites like that to see if the people you date in the future have a reputation for cheating?
3) to the unfaithful: would knowing you have been or could be publicly outed / humiliated in such a way deter you from cheating again?
4) would knowing one could have their reputation so publicly smeared deter one from having an affair in the first place?
Just sort of thinking that other than revenge, there's not much point, but I'm curious what others think.

I don't think anybody checks to see if someone they're dating is on those sites.
Upon revenge the truth is seldom spoken so I take those stories with a grain of salt.
Everyone is so sanguine and accepting about cheating and those who do it serially. I find I am floored by that. What little means to keep this sick behavior in bounds should be liberally applied.... I am glad to hear someone somewhere cares enough to expose these users..
Where are these sites please? I will definitely look up people I date in future. Fooled once is enough for me.
Seems they just keep everyone informed, as it were. Women and men.
