Okay, I thought this would be a good time to talk about this, in the season of laughter and joy. Last year, my two older kids caught me 'playing Santa' in the middle of the night. Man, I blew it big time!
Another time, when my 10 year old was just shy of age 3, we all woke up to find her laying asleep on the living room floor, all of the presents opened, wrapping paper scattered all around her, and the VHS I'd bought for my H playing in the VCR! At the time, I was so furious! But now when I look back, I can't help but smile, remembering how precious she looked. Her childhood innocence was obvious in her chubby pink cheeks and she was sleeping in her Christmas PJ's with her little curls splayed around her face. Obviously, Santa had come for her a little early!
Any way, has anyone else had any embarrassing or silly stories of their Christman memories?

I grew up in a very urban area.
Many years ago, my sister and grandmother went to midnite mass.
They decided to stop at the bar on the way home.
They met a sad man that they offered to come home to have a drink at my parents house.
Well, I was home and was quite angry at this. I pulled the man aside and asked him to leave. He refused and pulled a gun out and placed it on the kitchen table. He said 'I am not going anywhere'.
I played it cool and pandered to this psychopath, while fearing if I called the cops that he might shoot one of us.
My mother was disabled and bedridden in the next room. I informed the Christmas visitor of this, hoping he would just leave.
He left at 6:00 on Christmas morning.
Ah, the good old days.
