Infidelity Support Group
Any relationship in which one partner engages willfully in sexual relations with another outside of the partnership is considered to have experienced infidelity. This breach of trust is often traumatizing for the faithful partner as well as the relationship, and support is often needed to heal emotionally and to decide whether or not the relationship should continue after...
I don't think it matters if your male or female-devastation is devastation.
The symptoms of betrayle can hit long and hard.
Not sleeping, not eating, over eating, throwing up, panic attacks just to name a few.
Bottom line this is pain/hurt to the very core of ones self. Infidelity robs you of your past, present and future.
Prayers for All!
Hey - It's my life, I'll cry if I want to... I need a glass of water, I'm getting dehydrated...
At one point after we had sold our home and I was into my own place, my back went out and I was on the couch for two weeks. That was not a lot of fun.
Obviously I'm stressed again because I'm up at 2:15 am... can't make my brain turn off. This still comes and goes too, mostly now from my dealing with everyday stress of raising our kids and workign full time and all that fun stuff. Which is normal but compounded by the pain from his lies and cheating.
As far as emotionally.... i think women can be more compassionate as long as the cheating H comes clean and gets his act together. But like L said, when we are done we are REALLY done.
I think women are the caretakers. Hope I don't sound sexist, but I do. We may try and try to put it behind us and reconcile, but when push comes to shove, and we see the writing on the wall - that it's happened again, or was going on STILL - we get done and VERY done.
Yeah, I dropped weight. Lots of it. Divorced since 2005 and all, but I still struggle to keep it on. (Hello PIZZA!)
It all hits us physically...L~
