i too hope therapy will help you. the right mindset goes a long way. know first which you prefer, your wife or online relationships, if you can only have one, because if you persist, thats exactly what you'll have. as well, find more constructive ways to occupy your boredom, namely adding excitement to your relationship with your wife. by no means am i an expert on the matter but trust that working through things with a therapist will help... if you're committed

rediscover your wife, try something new, ask her about her day, ask her about your dreams, speak to her as someone you just met and are getting to know for the first time. complacency can be broken. do things for her as though you just started dating, consider it a whole new relationship

unplugging may be the best way, as some access only invites online activity, remove the temptation but have some new activities in mind to distract you while you move away from that behaviour. i will say that when you say for a while, think of it as an alcoholic who says they will stop drinking for a while, or a drug addict who says they will quit crack for a while. its a new lifestyle not simply a short term change. its an addiction, which inherently will be easier said than done, and thats ok, stay strong, be committed. the motivation should be a healthy relationship for you and your wife - it stands on a frail line

Not to be mean, but maybe you can help explain to me why my husband did this to me. To me, his cheating is so selfish and it has really hurt me to know that he put her before me.
