I just wanted to let you know some of the things that are happening.
1. My husband is so damn chirpy today, as if everything is honky Dory . At least we are not fighting or angry.
2. Im writing down whatever I may eventually want to tell him. I find it is better for me because once he starts talking, he twists my head and I don't know how to respond. I'm also trying to anticipate what he will say so that I can have a response ,but it's not easy because he has all the answers.
3. I've had a better week with him ( except for my constant thoughts about the affair). I know this is going to sound crazy to all of you but this is how my life is. He hasn't yelled or blamed me for anything. I see that he is trying to be nicer since I wrote him that letter. So that's why I've had a better week.

Perhaps he is so numb to any level of empathy he no longer feels any.
It's good to write things down but I would not suggest bottling things up because you don't want to rock the boat. If you are feeling down it is his job to help you in any way he can because he is the inflictor of this pain.
