Infidelity Support Group
Any relationship in which one partner engages willfully in sexual relations with another outside of the partnership is considered to have experienced infidelity. This breach of trust is often traumatizing for the faithful partner as well as the relationship, and support is often needed to heal emotionally and to decide whether or not the relationship should continue after...
You need to tell your H that he needs to make a choice. He can stay married and be faithful, get into therapy or leave. You should immediately be talking to a lawyer.
As you have already figured out, he cannot be trusted. You need to stand tall and set your boundaries.
Not sure if he did or did not have sex with her he sure wanted and would have if sge would have been interested and thats just as bad. Also be aware that cheaters only admit to what they get caught of. Usually what you know is only 10 percent of the truth. To be safe please get STD tested. Don't trust a cheater/lyer if he says he used protection cause they don't.
If he came to his senses and is actually renorsefull than he needs to do some bug steps. Clearly change gym immediately. Block all contact with this women and any other women u have not felt right about. He needs to allow u access to his phone email Facebook everything at any time without any hesitation. If he's not doing that he is surely still cheating.
He needs to be open and honest at all times of where he is.
There's no hope if he isn't doing all that.
If he's renorsefull therapy for each of you individual and later coupled therapy would be a start. If you do nothing and he just says sorry and nothing changes he will simply do it again or continue doung it.
I understand how mad you are about him not being able to control himself with ur don around tgats really bad of him and very inappropriate. He's 9 if he felt awkward about it he surely learnd a very bad thing from his dad. I think that should be addressed through a couples counselor. Your son needs to learn that it's not ok to treat a wife like that and your son needs to learn that you won't allow getting treated like that. Tgats a powerful lesson. Hopefully a counselor can give some tips on how to best deal with that.
So sorry what ur going through hope you are starting to fill in the pieces. It's very painfull to be cheated on. Wish you the best. Be strong and make the right decisions. Trust ur gut. Your gut is usually right
What you can do is do as Storm suggests--he goes to therapy or he leaves. This will wake him up or it won't. Either way, before you issue the ultimatum, get to a lawyer. Get a therapist for yourself. Get money. Get anyone you cherish out of town for a few days. Then deliver it. Calm, cool and collected. This is the toughest news you will deliver because you're still reeling. You have to set boundaries now because he has no respect for you. Not that it can't return but his affair (that is what it is) is in full swing. And beware of his accusations and allegations hat you're the reason he strayed. Total bullshit.
Will it be emotionally tolling? Yes.
Will you cry?
Yes.
Will you feel like your entire world is upside down?
Yes.
Will you relearn to trust your judgment?
Yes.
Is there a possible happy ending?
Yes.
But your first priority is to protect yourself. It all goes from there.
Wishing you well.
The thing is, back when you lost weight and he kept accusing you of something there is a high probability he was doing something back then as well. Men are notorious for accusing their wives of having affairs when that's really what they are doing themselves. Maybe it was someone from the office that he could see without you or your kids having an inkling. He must have wanted this new woman bad to act like in front of your son. He had to know what a shitty role model he was being for a 9 year old son who looked up to him.
Check you credit card receipts. Look for patterns. Look for lunches that cost twice what he normally spends. Those are lunches he paid for two meals. Look for hotel charges just use your brain. If you're afraid to look, it's not because you truly think it's a one time thing, it's because deep down inside you know it's more. Do what you need to do to protect yourself and your children.
No one ever wants to think their husband is a cheater, but he was grooming her for an affair and this is what that looks like. Sure she was open to the whole thing, but mostly men pursue and women enjoy being pursued, right?
EXPOSURE! I agree with STORM! tell her husband.. right down to your H taking sexy pictures of her... Let her H take care of her!
You said that he accused you a couple of years ago when you go into shape. That kind of worries me. Second you continue to see him taking his phone into the washroom and suspect him of texting. It could be that they were trying to keep their stories straight from their respective spouses to minimalize the affair depth and length.
You read his texts, but you can't be sure during the first time you caught him to when he actually let you read them that the more explicit ones weren't deleted. My wife told me that during the affair she would just delete texts that were outside of "friendship" talk so that there would not be any suspicion.
