Just my opinion only. Your first mistake was getting involved with a MM. It is just wrong. Secondly, if it did happen.... the second mistake was allowing the MM to continue to “confess” his love to you continuously while being married and you “allowing” to continue. I am sorry/not sorry that you feel depressed and angry, as you should have tapped the breaks prior to allowing your feelings to take over when he was married. You were just in much control over the “limits” as he was. As being the OW in an emotional affair, I do not sympathize one bit with the AP. Although I know my CS had just as much involvement as OW, I blame both of them equally. Where are the limits? Where is the self control? Where are the morals. I am sorry/not sorry you are judging yourself, maybe this is the lesson that has been put in your path. Bottomline is is happened, and now dig deep to forgive yourself and move on! Do not engage with a MM in the future, despite what they tell you. If they really are invested in you, they will do it the right way. They will end their current relationship, take time to process, then engage with you, if they so wish. Affairs suck! They break families apart, but more importantly, they permanently destroy a piece of the innocent people who are betrayed in the middle. Just be a better person than that. My advice to you, is.... it happened, move on, and let it go! Go and work on yourself and build your selfesteem so you can have selfworth. Then, when you’re not looking, maybe you can find a faithful man and you both can settle into a relationship respectfully and faithfully. Sorry/not sorry for being blunt! Good luck!

I appreciate your honest feedback. I realize I made a mistake. I did not know he was married at first & he lied. I have learned my lesson & am no longer involved with MM, I know others were hurt. I lost a lot of my self esteem in the process. Thank you for being honest. I hear you!

Before you get involved with any man, be sure he is available. You must have hopped into bed pretty quickly with this loser to be duped the way you were. Take your time with the next guy.

I think you should write a brief two to three sentence letter of apology to the wife. The H made a choice to cheat, you made a choice to be with him, but she did not choose to be a betrayed spouse. Then put this whole mess behind you.

I agree with everyone's comment but if you feel the way you do just think about how the wife feels. I just recently found out that my husband was cheating. I suck, it hurts so bad. Do women that cheat with married men ever consider how the wife feels when she finds out? I don't think so!!! You really owe the wife an apology whether she accepts it or not. I am sure it would make you feel better as well! If I could get an apology from the woman that cheated with my husband, it would make me feel so much better but I know that's not going to happen. According to society, it's not a bad thing for a man to cheat ( again according to society, I know it's wrong) but for a woman to be so selfish to hurt another woman...that's crap. Think about how you would feel...apologize!

Before you get involved with another man make sure he is not married or in a relationship with another woman. Ask questions and look for signs to help you figure out if he's lying or not. I'm sure the right man is out there for you...wait on him! He will come!

Healing is a process, it will happen in time! Apologize to the wife, please!
