I'm in a sexless marriage. We love each other and are faithful...she is sick and I'm being as strong as I can but I miss our intimacy and feel depressed myself now. Feel guilty that I'm making this about me....so conflicted.

@Positive499, understood and I was conflicted similarly when my wife and I fell into relationship problems and we were still living physically together but apart. Was horrible and I missed our intimacy too. It spiraled me downwards and I had an affair, which then left me with more guilt and more distance, coupled with lies and isolation, which would ultimately blow up all we had. In my desperation, I found God and prayed for help and he did help me in ways I'd not thought of... In your situation, you are still committed to your marriage. With that going for you, be courageous and honest and tell your wife how you are feeling. Look her in her eyes and say the words you just posted here, and it'll give you an intimacy and fullness you'd never imagined. It'll take all your courage, but you have lots going for you... I'm impressed that you've reached out here and are willing to go the distance for your marriage and deepen your intimacy... Bravo @Positive499!

Can you give us more information about what kind of illness your wife has that makes you unable to have a full relationship with your wife
