Is your wife willing to cut the other guy out of her life? If she did, would you be willing to delay divorce and see what might happen in therapy? It sounds like your marriage was in need of some work even before she made the terrible choice to have a side relationship. Maybe it can all be dealt with?
And yes, get rid of the bed if you are going to keep living there.
Yeah we were both going down hill ever since the accident. Her affair only made it go nuculur.
Well she will probably move out of here or her boy will move in with her. I really don't know what will happen. I will surly do what ever I can to be as close to my Son.
My stbex wanted me to "wait 2 weeks for him to figure out how to not live 2 women at the same time." Then he went on to say "I can't guarantee that I'll be back or that I won't want to continue to live her."
He wanted me to wait for him (after he ripped my heart out, blindsiding me all the while)!!!!!
My only response to that (we have children also) was "I will NEVER" be second choice to anyone!! Either you love me & only me, or there is no us."
I filed for divorce 8/24 & we've only been split up since 8/3!
Never let someone decide if you're good enough for them!
You're good enough for you and your boy & someday, you'll be the best thing that has ever happened to a woman & she will be a part of your past.
Good luck with strength, everyday is HELL, but it only lasts for a little while.
HUGS!!!!!!
I'm so sad for you that you feel so bad about yourself that you would allow that and subsequently that is being projected onto your son. Please don't.
