Infidelity Support Group
Any relationship in which one partner engages willfully in sexual relations with another outside of the partnership is considered to have experienced infidelity. This breach of trust is often traumatizing for the faithful partner as well as the relationship, and support is often needed to heal emotionally and to decide whether or not the relationship should continue after...
Only you can decide. I need what I need and you need what you need. I need honesty, loyalty, decency and commitment. Those are musts for me. No negotiating.
Best of luck to you.
I guess for me. reconciliation is not available. The wife is doing her thing while i try to figure out how to proceed with my life. I definitely believe that if the opportunity arose to reconcile that I would have to believe that she wasn't settling or that i wasn't either.
I tell myself that whoever i ended up with would have to love my son as much as me. And unfortunately with all my wife's mistakes, she is going to love my son the most.
That definitely is the hardest part. knowing what you would need to do to keep a relationship together and not be given the opportunity to do it.
Not too long ago my fiance cheated on me, and I too know that perhaps I wasn't the most fantastic partner. When it happened, I was rather rational, calm, and I did not yell at her or try to get revenge. I was kind and tried to make it work. Unfortunately its hard to trust again. Honesty and openness is the only way to go now. In the end though, if there are things you think you need to improve, do so. But do not lose who you are, and think of your son.
Good luck, and keep your stick on the ice. We'll all be pulling for you.
