Infidelity Support Group
Any relationship in which one partner engages willfully in sexual relations with another outside of the partnership is considered to have experienced infidelity. This breach of trust is often traumatizing for the faithful partner as well as the relationship, and support is often needed to heal emotionally and to decide whether or not the relationship should continue after...
I wouldn't assume that there hasn't been anything physical involved either. STD testing would be a good idea. Bipolar people have impulse issues which makes them more likely to have unprotected sex.
It is the cheater who breaks up the family, not the betrayed.
He's having affairs with men and women by the sounds of it. What you found out is only 25% of the truth. He's risking ur health every time you still have sex with him because cheaters don't use protection. Please get STD tested.
Please don't say that you don't want to break up the family. HE has broken up the family HIS actions not You!.
Run and choose for ur own health. And yes this is extremely toxic for kids to see when they grow up. They will learn it's ok to cheat and treat ur partner like shit and they will learn that you are allowing him to treat u like a doormat.
Leave get STD tested asap and get individual counseling for urself. Wish you the best
This guy is poison for you and your child.
Imagine you were not married to this person and it was a friend's husband whom she told you all these details about what he did and who he was.
Would you want this kind of person around you or leave your kid alone with?
. I really feel obligated, however, to help him through his problems. You know the whole "for better or worse, in sickness and in health" mentality. But if he doesn't at the very least acknowledge that the problems exists, I can't do anything.
Don't feel obligated because of the "for better and worse " promise. Please realize that he would not return the favor if things were turned around. He dies not love and respect you "for better or worse"
Also it's so horrifying he gave you an STD while pregnant. He blames you while he did that. Just think about it , on top of urs he risked his own child's health!!! Im not sure wgat STD ir is hopefully a treatable one, but both you and ur baby could have been HIV positive. Let that sink in for a second. Cheaters don't use protection and mine cgeated while pregnant. And honestly that is the part I just can't wrap my head around how he could risk his sons life.
Ur cheating husband doesn't do the "for better or worse" kind of thing he only dies what is good for him.
Please take care of urself and ur little one. You do NOT owe him anything but you do owe urself a healthy life and a path to healing and you do owe ur son a healthy life growing up with his strong mom who didn't put up with his dad's disrespect. Hugs. Be strong!
And then something terrifying happened. I heard my four year old crying loudly over the baby monitor, ran in there to see what was wrong, and they were both standing in his bathroom. My husband was telling him to brush his teeth, said he had started crying about it. I looked down and noticed my son's arm was turning red. I asked what happened, nobody would say. So I moved my hand around in different ways and easily spotted that the mark was from him being grabbed. Grabbed very hard and forcibly.
My son has been acting strange lately, very sensitive, crying a lot. Having episodes of unexplained rapid hearbeats. He always seems kinda sad. Now the pieces are falling together.
It's all so much, I don't even know where to begin.
Your husband ckearly doesn't see he has a problem so he can't be helped. And for him to make you doubt ur sanity. Ur NOT insane ur reacting like every normal partner who gets betrayed. He's the insane one.
I'm not talking anything right he crossed a line by grabbing ur son like that. But I don't know if it means he's an abusive father. The whole situation of him losing his family may have made him frustrated could it be a single incident? Although ur mentioning other behaviours in ur son. I'm so sorry. Maybe see if there is a child psychologist to get to the bottom of this. If he has been abusive more often you sure want to fight for supervised visits only or none at all. If it was a single time maybe the therapist has more advice what to do next.
Tryst your gut mama if it doesn't feel good for him to be around ur son no-one will ever blame you for trusting your gut do what you need to.
Hugs stay strong in this for ur son you can do this.
You don't owe him anything. Better or worse doesn't apply as the second he cheated he ripped up the marriage contract. You were no longer married.
