Example the movie "blouseman" he immeidately forgives his wife for affair. Man that set off massive trigger in me, I was steaming mad for a day after watching it.
Becareful of the triggers which makes you feel good.
My triggers turned from sadness to rage.
At the end was feeling good getting a trigger, as it made me feel alive.
Once you learn something new..a word, a definition, an affair..you tend to see if everywhere..you ever learn a new word at school or work and then see that word printed everywhere for the next week. It was always there but you never noticed it because it didnt exist to you. I never noticed how many "sex chat" commercials come on tv at night...how many strip clubs there are...how many billboards of half naked women for stripclubs, etc etc are present until the 1st time i was cheated on.
The sex ads etc are all fake do not get caught up in them.
Its the real life that is the pain.
10 day out, wait until 6 mths out.
Just get to know triggers and worry less about the fakery.
So it hurts because I can now relate and don't want to relate. Don't want to relate for my boys and don't want to relate for me.
As a WS - when watching shows with marraige realtionship themed/affair/family - do you all feel "guilty" or are you all numb to the situation - that you can block it out or do you all need to change the channel?
