Infidelity Support Group
Any relationship in which one partner engages willfully in sexual relations with another outside of the partnership is considered to have experienced infidelity. This breach of trust is often traumatizing for the faithful partner as well as the relationship, and support is often needed to heal emotionally and to decide whether or not the relationship should continue after...
What does it matter anyway?
You are capable of whatever you want to be capable of. You can engage in negative self-talk, if you want. Or you can get a lawyer, pack up, and get out of wherever you are. You can create the life you want.
You do not have to sign up to be a victim. Chances are if you suspect your H is cheating, he probably is.
Most cheaters do gaslight. All lie. All feel entitled to their affairs. I suspect most are some where on the narcissistic personality syndrome spectrum.
I know how painful the betrayal is. But that pain does not have to define you. Be glad you found out now and not when you had 25 years or more invested in your marriage as well as a couple of
kids. Think of yourself as lucky.
I'm noticing people around are condo seem to be acting unusual as in THEY see and know something isn't right. The wife is the last to know, RIGHT? I'm so beat down from all this that it's making it hard to make a good solid decision. Will continue to pray. I will not accept this as my life sentence. I deserve better. If nothing else, I want to live ALONE. Maybe I can date later as in MUCH later. I'm so crushed that I can't think about another relationship.
I need to continue to detach and start figuring out what I can do - steps to get out.
Also, all this came on rather suddenly... his ED problem which followed arguments about a married neighbor that has been flirting with him. I told him that was not acceptable and suddenly, we weren't having sex. I think there's a possibility they are still involved.
He seems hot and cold - on and then off. This is very common for cheaters or someone that's having other relationships. The arguing has been brutal until lately and that's bc I won't argue with him anymore.
I'm moving toward accepting this (his cheating) to keep me from running in circles in my head. Now I'm ready to figure out what I need to do about it!
