Where is my husband tonight?

Sleeping in a hospital room with his mistress as she is being treated for her kidneys shutting down...

He has already been "taking care of her" for the last week because she has had a 103 fever, and vomitting but refused to "listen" to him when he said to drink fluids and go to the doctor...

is it wrong of me to be like.. what is next now?

He is doing things with her, he has never done with me... never slept in a hospital room with me.. but I take care of myself...

I wouldn't say I am jealous.. I am more upset than anything... because she can depend on my husband to be there for her... but I can't even depend on him for simple things to be there for me...

How will we ever recover?

I'm sorry for how you are feeling and can relate my husband is on a road trip with the OW.
Please think of yourself until he is ready to give her up your life will be full of heartache. Best to do what is best for you right now. I have been on this journey for 3 years and my emotions have slowly changed every time I found out he lied feels like millions of lies. Find out what you like to do and take time for yourself doing what brings you some joy even if it is only for a few minutes at a time. Take walks. I was told by so many people what I should do but until you are ready to make decisions in your life you just get by day by day that is good enough for now.

I really feel for you and i hope you can have a "me" weekend as hard as this is. Nurture and look after yourself. It is so unacceptable that you are in this position hun but i know it's awkward also, BUT too fucking bad i say. I am sorry she is sick BUT you are emotionally unwell, your marriage is suffering.

You are smart, articulate, mature...you have so much going for you, and have so much to offer yourself and someone who truly cares and respects you in his life.

I'm sorry you're going through this...he surely doesn't seem to get what he's missing by choosing the OW. I feel, though, given your strength, you will find the answer that works well for you. Good luck :)

Thanks guys for the well wishes and encouraging words. I have enjoyed my weekend so far and haven't seen him since Thursday, so kind of bummed that he is trying to see me today. I am working on packing my lunches for work and getting my laundry done so I can pack my "go bag" soo when he calls to say he is on his way, I can leave to go spend the night with my friend. I will have to answer though because truthfully I would rather be with my dogs, so if he isn't coming over I won't leave. I just need to make it through next Thursday and then I will be out of town and can definitely not answer the phone while I am in Tennessee, and I already recommended to him we take some time and space and no contact. So that would be August 2nd-August 17th no contact, especially in person. So I am getting it all ready just in case I have to leave at a moment's notice. Wish me luck and strength.

You are just too young and unencumbered for this shit. Let the stupid ass have him and see how it works out for her. I would start divorce proceedings right away. I know your'e history, that's why I say this. The only thing you can count on from him is that he will always let you down. (sending good vibes)

I don't know how you hold it together. I couldn't do it without losing my mind and possibly hurting him. Relax while you are away. NO CONTACT. Hope your dad does well with his treatment.

Thanks Sandy. Trust me, I question my sanity sometimes. I have had a good day so far, and still no contact. I have been planning my lunches out, so I packed my lunches for the week and went to the pool. Now I should be packing for my trip, but feel a nap coming on instead. Definitely doing this whole no contact thing, and coming here for support when I feel weak, but so far so good.
