Is it just me or at night the pain gets way worse

I don't know why but at night, usually after 7 PM the pain kicks in pretty hard. During the day I was fine. We had a good conversation, it was a good start. I am a night person and he is a morning person, so I know in the morning he is more willing to talk. At night when I want to talk he isn't willing at all. But besides that I feel very anxious, and the pain in my chest is almost physical. I've been in this situation before and I know a couple of things help, like talk to other people. Sometimes it doesn't even have to about the problem, but just hang out and talk. Too bad for me cause I have no friends here. Oh well.

Same for me.At night for whatever reason I think about it the most hence why I never sleep.My H will talk but usually I just say something sarcastic and then I won't talk for the rest of the night.I need to work on that..I guess

me too, nights are the worst, it reminds me of the lies to my face as we were lying next to each other, face to face in our safe place, where no one else should ever have been with my husband

the nights kill me. I always sit up till 3 or 4 in the morning staring at the wall wondering why we have to be going through this...

Unfortunately I'm not alone in this matter. Well a few things that sometimes work for me are call a friend and talk about anything. Internet chat usually don't work for that matter. Take a shower to relax. Smoke. Watch a movie sometimes help. And to help me sleep I use Tylenol PM. It helps me to fall asleep and keep sleeping.
Gina, I am trying very hard to not get in to that pattern. I want him to communicate and if I say something sarcastic he won't but it is really hard not to. Today I almost said something sarcastic but I controlled myself. I also have to think about myself, I still have to stay here on his house so I don't want us to be awkward and be kicked out. I have to swallow my pride and be quiet.

Take benedryl instead, it has the same active sleep aid in Tylenol without the unnecessary acetaminophen.

I think it's common for us to feel the worst/pain at night when we try to sleep. I'm going through intense therapy to try and help improve my sleep. I've had recurring nightmares about my ex-husband and his gf who he had the affair with. I'm trying a technique where I can change my nightmares and force myself to wake up. I did sleep slightly better last night. I've also got into a routine of meditation at night to help calm me down, get rid of anxiety and pain. Hope this helps, know that others care...keep your head up!

Today I went for a looong walk in the afternoon. I walked for 1:30 hours and I think it will help me to sleep.

Night time is hard for me too. I normally try to clean whatever I can while everyone is sleeping. It's hard to not say something sarcastic, if he says something I'll turn it around and say, "Well, I bet 'she' would do that". It's hard to keep my mouth shut, it's like I want him to hurt just like he hurt me.
