At 4Am this morning.
My husband left last night, said he would be back, and by 2 AM had not returned. His phone was off. I got in my car and drove to her house at 4am. I knocked on her door until she opened. We were nice, I said sorry its late, is my husband here, she said yeah, he's a storyteller huh? I said yeah. So she gets him up...
We talk outside, he says I have no right to stalk him and I was crazy and he doesn't want me, he wants me out of his life...
We me and OW decide to talk to him, face to face, so that really pissed him off- to be confronted by both of us and be called out on his lies... and of course he gets upset when she learns the truth about his games too..
So I told him, come home and pack a bag, and don't be there when I get home from work, and that he can be the one to file for divorce.
He asks me to help him, I tell him thats what google is for. So I finally have the truth, I knew it all along, but I forced the issue and got my answer. It feels good to be home alone with my dogs, although I know I may be losing everything soon, a fresh start on life, may not be such a bad thing.
I deserve better. I'm ready to walk away... it took me a long time to get to this point, but I reached it, I finally got to the point where I can say I have done everything, I am ready to close this book and start a new one.

I have one suggestion for what its worth. If you are the one to file the divorce, you will be able to approach it on the offense. I learned that this is a distinct advantage throughout the process.
My wife was the "Complainant " in our divorce and I was on my heels the entire 30 months that she decided to drag it out.
Its just a thought...
I have to agree with lance, though, and I was actually going to post the same thing--that it's much more beneficial to be the one to do the filing.

Its been a decent week, work has been busy which has been good and thankfully he has left me alone.
Coming home to my dogs and just doing my own thing really hasn't been that bad.
I am going to a counseling appointment just for myself on Monday afternoon, and then will start looking to meet with an attorney face to face for a consultation, which will probably be next week if possible.
So far hanging in there and doing actually okay. I have been drinking a little more wine at night, but no more than a glass ;) But its all good
