I dont love you like a wife should love her husband. This is what I got when my STBX started out in the FOG/affair.
Looking back on this when she told me that line it actually disarmed me to the point that I couldnt respond to the whole situation because she put me on the defense and I had no idea what was going on - that she was starting to talk and see this other guy at the gym. She then started blame shifting and guilt shifting like a professional which confused me even more then I didnt realize it was all because of some other dude.
Once I actually figured out what she was doing what was actually going on I said the heck with this if she can do this I can do this as well and I started dating a lot my philosophy has always been a relationship is a 2 way street if someone is doing someone else wrong then get out and find someone that deserves you.

But it's true that there is always one who loves the other more. As stated by Hal on Malcolm in the Middle:

If it was even, we'd all just boink all day, reproduce like bunnies, then leave the kids to raise themselves like little animals while we returned to boinking all day :) It just wouldn't work. The human race wouldn't survive.
