i can't understand the bullshit you feed yourself, hypnotherapy, really?
just come cocoa,
It sounds like she is trying, you wouldn't agree?
Key word: The woman is TRYING...she wants help.....and it sounds like she is going above and beyond to get it.....give her a break. She already feels bad enough as it is.
Sometimes its a accumulation of things that can't even be articulated. Sometimes something is so broken inside the CS...that SOME KIND of therapy, and with the right therapist, can crack....
It can be experiences we've grown up with, we witnessed, fantasies, social media or influences....Its like there is no ONE thing that causes cancer. We do heal. We can get move forward and become forward thinkers, too......Really, we can.
Most BS's it seems want a definitive answer: "I cheated because you didn't take out the trash last Tuesday" or "We only had sex 3x last week and not 4". For most of us, its not like that......but there is not one cookie cutter standard answer for why someone cheats.
Hypnotherapy and swimming with dolphins are not going to change that. A cheater chooses their wants over considering the consequences for anyone beyond themselves.
What will aromatherapy reveal to a person beyond this is the reason it is easy for them to make selfish choices and it is the reason it is hard for them to think about other people.
Will such insight really change thier character?
If they are waiting for the insight ...
Then I think it shows that they don't really want to change.
The why question is a common one among both BSs and CSs.
Do an internet search including the quotation marks for "Evaluating the Why" on the Healing Infidelity blog for a fuller discussion, and something he can read too.
I don't believe it either, and hypnotherapy is not going to work miracles.
As Lifehurts2013 mentions, it would help commenters if you were to provide some details that are relevant to your situation. If you think you know what it is, why don't you mention it, along with why it isn't deep enough for your husband?
