How do I get over my son's dad? He cheated on me. I keep going back to him. I keep accusing him. He says I'm psycho and crazy. When we try to make it work I'm always wondering who's he's with, what he's doing, or where he's at. I'm tired of feeling this way. I love him a lot, but I think it's time to let go. The more I hang on, the more it hurts. I want to be around him without wanting to be with him. I want to be his friend before anything. How do I move on? How do I focus on my son and myself again? I don't want to keep getting hurt. How do I let him go? I'm scared of who he'll date next. I don't want anyone that I don't know around my son, especially if they'll be temporary. I feel insecure and worthless, epescially when he calls me crazy. I want to love myself again.
It's so hard to act sane around my children but I keep trying. It's hard for me to be present minded for my children when all I want to do is curl up and cry. In those days I've found that sharing something I love with them helps a lot. In days that I'm ok, I try to intentionally love and nurture them. This seems to fill the void in my heart and heal theirs as well.
It's a hell of a ride. I'm struggling everyday after 4 months.
