Infidelity Support Group
Any relationship in which one partner engages willfully in sexual relations with another outside of the partnership is considered to have experienced infidelity. This breach of trust is often traumatizing for the faithful partner as well as the relationship, and support is often needed to heal emotionally and to decide whether or not the relationship should continue after...
I think it's a hard place to be in, having been there before. People can want to be loved so badly that they fail to see the weaknesses in the relationship.
I want to share something I just recently learned about. I am 36 and I've been married 5 years now, but it took me until a few months ago before I found out about this. There is a state of affection called "Limerence". (Watch this video:

I remember feeling strong emotions toward people or having a few guys feel that way toward me, but it wasn't fully reciprocated. I understand now that there isn't just ONE person for everyone (which can lead people to cheat when they lose "the spark" and then they imagine someone else might be the answer). I also know it is possible to feel infatuated and head over heels for someone enough that you don't notice the cues that tell you they aren't really as into you.
The things I have found in my relationship that I believe help it work are:
1. I have a deep respect for my husband's strengths and character
2. I trust him to put my needs (not necessarily all my nitpicky wishes) and the needs of our family first
3. I believe he is a great dad to our kids 98% of the time
4. We might fight, but we are both commited to this "come hell or high water"
5. We both understand we are different people who aren't always going to agree. Sometimes we just agree to disagree
6. We both respect that I need to take time to do things alone to care for myself sometimes
7. We are both imperfect people who still deserve to be caref for and treated with respect
8. I realized I have to be loving and affectionate to my own self sometimes to meet my needs(i try to remember this but can forget this sometimes)
