Infidelity Support Group
Any relationship in which one partner engages willfully in sexual relations with another outside of the partnership is considered to have experienced infidelity. This breach of trust is often traumatizing for the faithful partner as well as the relationship, and support is often needed to heal emotionally and to decide whether or not the relationship should continue after...
My favourite piece of jewelry was a ring he bought me for our 25th anniversary. It had three bands on it...and I told him "how fitting, since there were three of us in the relationship". That ring I will never wear again. It's so sad that these things bring such sad memories. I hope you can wear your jewelry one day and have happy memories attached to them.
Thanks for the reassurance!
You have a lot of healing and I don't envy you at all. The first two months were HORRIBLE!!! I called my good friend sobbing on several occasions asking why this was happening to me. You really need someone to talk to this about. Are you going to counceling as well? If not you should. Make sure you fight well with that person too. I just found a new councelor and she is AMAZING!!! I used to dread going and talking about all this crap but I can't wait to see my new one.
I heard of a website that specializes in selling jewelry from breakups. Ingenious. I'll try to find it and post it for those of us looking to drop-kick our baggage.
I am not looking forward to what other poison will come spewing out of me as the weeks pass. Two months? Ugh. What have you done to protect you and your family?
As far as my family is concerned I tried to hide it from my kids. I told a lot of people and I have recieved a lot of support. I can understand though that sometimes you can't.
Not sure if you read my journals but I moved 1,000 miles away and I am finishing school (2 years left to bachelors degree) with my family near by. I couldn't stand the thought of living with him anymore.
How old is your son? Can you hide it from him? I told my daughter recently that we were her daddy and I are having a hard time and that dad told me some lies that really hurt me. I reassured her that we both love her and we will always be mom and dad. Keep it simple. My husband deploys a lot so the seperation isn't to hard either.
As for your idea of being re-presenting the gifts he gave you, No, it's not weird at all. If there is anything that comes to mind that you think will make you feel better then that is what you deserve. If it doesn't work, that's okay. At least you tried.
You're going through so much already, don't add to your own worry.
