Has anyones H/W refuse to talk about affair ?

Has anyone had any trouble getting their spouses to talk about what happened, not that I want a play by play, don't need those images, but does anyones spouse refuse to talk about the other person? like their name, or anything ? To me it feels like my H is always protecting her I Told him that , My feelins should be the one you have to be protecting instead you wnt at great lengths to protect her the co worker, could it be that they are really just friends and he doesent want me starting trouble (I have a bad temper and tend to do things to get msyelf into trouble )or should I trust my gut , and telling me that they are both lying or lied to me?

Trust your gut!!! I wish I would have trusted mine. I think they are both lying to you. In my opinion your H doesn't want you to know details so you don't contact the OW and ask questions or worse make a scene, or better yet is it possible it is still going on? However if you are both wanting it to work out he needs to answer any questions you need to ask. That is the only way you will heal. Good Luck.

I strongly recommend marriage counseling. I at 1st didn't want to hear the details, then when I demanded to hear, my H refused. Counseling really shed a different light for both of us on the importance of revealing. Revealing all information should never be used as a weapon but a way to help us heal and move forward. When we know all..we don't have to question the past. Then let it go...don't make him repeat it over and over.

LISTEN TO YOUR GUT!!! It will tell you. Mine H also with a co worker. Said they were just friends. But remember what one member said Men don't have woman that our friends, they are just woman they haven't slept with yet.

he is the one that cheated. he is not the one that gets to set the conditions. You are. it is his decision if he can accept those conditions, if not, the sayonara... but that is how it goes.

I say trust your gut instict I have and thats how I caught my H. I trust it all the time. He should be willing to do whatever it takes to work things out thats how I see it.

I read your other post and I would have to say that he is not protecting her BUT wants to forget everthing that happened cause she sounds pyscho.

My Husband will tell me some things and not others cause "he forgot" or "does not remember" but sometimes I believe him and other times I do not. I have read many post on here and that is what helps me understand. One cheater on here stated the same things my husband states so maybe there is some truth in it.

I try not to bring things up anymore cause my husband does not want to remember the bitch but I do and he will answer me because he know that i'm not doing it to be mean or trying to "relive" but that it will ease my mind.

Have you told your husband that it bothers you and that you do not want the play by play but just certain answers?
