I didn't have that problem...he's living with her. She can HAVE him & all his bullshit that comes along with him. :)

The OM lives 1 mile from our house. His kids go to school with our kids and we run into him at the store and at the park and such. I've considered moving but that seems like a false sense of security. If my wife really wanted to see him, she could.

I had trouble getting rid of the O/W, but unfortunately I think the problem was my H. He had created a "friendship" with her and couldn't let go of the daily conversation. We have since "discussed" my issues with this and he swears "this time" he means it. He means he will not have any contact with her or her family. (we were all friends, kids and everything...been real hard for my son.) I asked my H what was different for him that made him believe he would be true to his word and he said that I had grown a back bone. ( I packed my shit and was out of here) So I guess according to his answers she is finally gone from cantact. (the cell phone bill will tell all"most" on April 4th.) I try to understand his "side" of things. I know it makes me feel weak to even think of accepting why, but I have to be honost with myself and him about it why it all started. OK I'm rambling. Yes I had probs getting rid of the O/W. Not really sure she is gone...time will tell!

I think it would be great if the one who was cheated on could move on as easily as those who cheated, but my personal experiance is showing me this is a very long a difficult process. If the harrassment in the form of phone calls, can you block the number? If you are worried there is some continuing obsession maybe a letter from your lawyer, if you have one?

The OW continued to email my H for months after the truth came out. Her H and I facilitated a phone call between them to say good-bye, but that wasn't enough for her. She emailed my H a LOT begging him to take her back. But, he stayed true to his word to me and did not respond. Instead, he forwarded the emails on to me. We agreed not to address them at all and we didn't.

The truth came out in March last year and she stopped emailing him in early summer. She lives next door. On my H's birthday in Dec she put happy birthday balloons on her mailbox. I got pissed off, but he didn't even notice them. How pathetic is that???

Unfortunately, I wasn't even given a chance. My now lives w/ her and I really don't think he has any intentions on coming back.

I guess I am the lucky one, we lived in Ohio he had the affair with a coworker, when my H confessed to me I was living with family in PA. I told him I wasn't moving back to OH, fortunetaly he was already applying for jobs outside of OH when I was still with him, I now know he just wanted any job to get out of there and away from her. By some miracle the same week he confessed he had a job interview in PA an hour away from were we are living. He was offered the job and gave his 2 week notice with the company he has been with for 10 years. He moved to PA with me and kids 3 days before Christmas.
There has been no contact to the OW except 2 weeks into him being with me I asked if he would call her and pretty much let her know what a piece of shit she is, I thought he would say hell no, but he did call her and I was right there when he did it so nothing shady went on. Besides that I called her two times, and left a message on her voice mail telling her what a whore she is. But she has not contacted him in anyway and to the best of my knowledge he has not contacted her. I don't know how the betrayed deal with having the OW/OM right there, and seeing them. I think I would go nuts. Good luck to all of you that have to look at the low lifes that helped ruin your marriages.

You know what!!? Don't take any shit from her at all! If you can tell who ever she is involved with do it and her family as well. She doesn't deserve to get away with it all if she keeps bugging you. don't threaten her just do it! Let her get a taste of the hell you go through and see if she doesn't run!

We had a brief period (a week and a half) when my former OW wasn't accepting the breakup. She wanted a "better" breakup that I wasn't able or willing to give her. She called me frequently and eventually called our house repeatedly one night. We called the police and an officer told her to leave us alone. She did and hasn't contacted us since.
