I hope this post stays on point and positive.
Thank you for posting.
however, i still feel there have been good changes for me in spite of all the pain and anguish of the past 18 months since Dday.
-i am far stronger than i ever knew i could be.
-i am successfully and happily raising my son alone (H has nothing to do with him, he'd rather abuse alcohol and chase loose women than see his son. his loss.)
-i am more grateful for the good things in my life.
-i am so much closer to my family.
-i have a clear picture of what i am worth and how i should (and shouldn't) be treated.
-i am free of someone who did not honor and respect me the way he should.
-i am pursuing hobbies and interests that were never "allowed" before.
-there are still setbacks, but overall things are getting better for myself and my son.
