Hmmmmm....but how to have a no contact when they work together. Still, he didn't have to call with his new number, did he?
(shaking my head here) If it were me? Seriously, I would ask him if he is serious about your reconciliation...because if he is just yanking your chain around, tell him to go until he can get his head out of his ass.
No middle ground. No settling.
(My Ex kept his OW around while he told me we were reconciling. That didn't work and I gave him the boot... all or nothing, at that point.)
Just my two cents, L~ Sending support...
If he's not transparent, and continues to lie...the affair's not over!!!
Why do these bastards tell their wives that it is over, when it's not????
Don't they realize they are adding insult to injury, and that this is worse than the actual affair in the first place?
Don't they realize that they are getting 0 points towards building trust, and now are minus 35 points?
Don't they realize that now we will doubt the part of it being "emotional" since they lied about ending it, and everything else!!!
What a fricken bastard!!!
I am so angry @ h im, Chewdy!
Also so sorry you not only have to deal with this, but have a huge baby, who lies expertly, and is a huge fool for thinkin he can get away with it!!!
This is the 2nd betrayal now, and who knows if it's not more!!! I would definitely be preparing my notes for the counselor today!
I would definitely let out my anger about his consistent lies, secrets, deceit, and total untrustworthiness that he seems to be embracing!!!! He doesn't deserve you, he doesn't deserve shit!!!
Your husband does this, my wife did this. They have the resolve to do this for as long as they feel like it. It hardly matters what you feel, they will keep at it.
So my recommendation to you is to not believe what he says. Trust is the wrong strategy until you can verify to your satisfaction that they are no longer cheating--on your terms, not his!
