so just celebrated my 20th wedding anniversary in December. I know we will not make 21. He has been cheating on me for the last 10 years.... we have 3 kids together and I didn’t want them to grow up without a father. Not to mention I didn’t want to be alone. I just can’t take it anymore Now he doesn’t come home some nights. His mother lives with us. Is 78. I don’t want her here and I want him to leave. I can’t take the torture anymore. I feel so bad for my kids but I’m about to lose it. Please help

You need to make a plan and gain some control over your life.

Go see a lawyer and find out what your rights are. Start secretly setting money aside.

You do not need to live with his mother. BTW, what does she think about her cheating son?

It will help you, too, to see a therapist who can help you work through these issues. Your H's cheating is not your fault. It is his choice. You have a wonderful life ahead of you without the pain this douche bag is causing you.

I'm so sorry you are going through this! Please read the bit in my post "Welcome to the newly betrayed" about lawyers, squirreling away money (get cash back whenever you buy groceries and buy gift cards you can use in the future), attend a secondsaturday seminar if there is one in your area. If you are absolutely determined to leave, go over to chump lady.com and read the post in the forums "read this if you're moving" and use the search feature to get a ton of practical information on how to get out. Post there for additional help from those who have already gone through what you are dealing with.

I'm so sorry. How long have you known about the cheating? No one deserves that and it's not your fault. Does he know you know? I'm assuming so if he's not coming home sometimes. Have you talked about it with your husband? Have you tried counseling? His mother living with you might be a difficult hurdle in getting him (and her) to leave if it comes to that.
