If he had problems in the marriage, he made his first mistake by not talking to you about them. Then when he went to the OW with it, he was already betraying you. Not only is he a liar and a hypocrite, he's a horrible example for your kids. I'm trying to teach my girls about role models and treating people decent, and its hard to do so when their mother left me for a lying cheater instead of either working things out or coming to me and respectfully asking out of the marriage. Then she had the nerve to turn around and introduce this person to all of them.
All I can say is hang in there and be there for your kids like you have, you are doing the right thing and taking the high road and you will feel better about it someday, I promise. I thought for the longest time I was always going to feel hurt and never see any light in this situation, but now eight months later and closing in on the final divorce, I am starting to realize she may have done me the biggest favor of my life.
