You also have to deal with the fact that cheaters rarely divulge the entire truth and are quite good at blaming the other partner for their own mistake.
He is only admitting to what he was caught doing. Trust will be an issue now.
It takes a lot of commitment from both of you to work through this. If it is only one sided...it will not work and you may want to contact a lawyer.
I've been there...this situation is tough in you mentally and physically.

It take 2 years from the last disclosure to find some sort of normalcy. Only if he's transparent, honest and open. You cannot punish him for being honest. You can be sad and disappointed, but if you want answers you can't punish him. It's like spanking a child for telling you they broke a glass. Why would they tell you if that's the case.
Get him to read this.. if you have to read it while driving... do it.

It took 3 months of trickle truth .. I found another girl looking for answers.. after this book.. we began to heal (he pulled his head outa his ass)
Honestly I think that is the take away point. She wanted me to be able to heal and move forward more than she wanted to save her dignity and reduce shame. That's a sign of selflessness over selfishness and of progress in the right direction.
