Three years Ago this weekend I was finally able to get the proof I needed to confirm and confront my wife about her affair.
Super tough weekend for me. She has no idea...why would she? How could she?
Of course a memory on FB shows up of the day before I found out. The last day I was normal. The last day I was myself. thank you FB for the memory of that day. She did look beautiful, that's for sure. For him...not me.

I know the feeling. We all wish we could go back to the day before we found out. Maybe we could change the out come, probably not.

Just keep putting one foot in front of the other, you'll heal in time

It gets easier. I plan something during that time to distract me. If you are struggling let her know. You need to deal with this together.

Not so much the “outcome” but the pure love or not looking over my shoulder or insecurities or reminders

I might try planning something next year. That’s a good idea. I plan on sitting her down today and explain to her what I was feeling.
I didn’t help that we watched a show and a couple was having an affair.

I get it, i remember the day I figured it out. I drove up...car was gone. I knew. So. I puked. I have been on both sides. The memories stink. Id say see if you can go through and find any memory and trash it.
