Infidelity Support Group
Any relationship in which one partner engages willfully in sexual relations with another outside of the partnership is considered to have experienced infidelity. This breach of trust is often traumatizing for the faithful partner as well as the relationship, and support is often needed to heal emotionally and to decide whether or not the relationship should continue after...
Specific to my marriage I have mutual love with a man who would do anything to heal me and I believe in his guilt.
My kids are healthy and happy and their parents are showing each other love more now than they have ever seen.
There are lots of things I can be thankful for.
I don't know why because I can't change my situation but I asked myself if I would rather be in her shoes or mine. Tough call, but I think i would rather have my f'ed up life than the chance to never walk again. For that I am thankful.
My H will do anything I ask of him and I know he hates himself for what he did.But sometimes this doesn't help me. On real bad days I think about just leaving...going back to Pa. and my family. Only thing is, my sons are here so I can't do that. And I'm not positive thats what I really want. I am still confused because I can't get past this but I don't think I want to be without my H either.
I had asked him if he still thinks about her and he told me no. The A was actually 9 years ago but me finding out everything was a little over 2 years ago. So I guess I do believe him, BUT I'M the one who thinks about her. And at the most awful times too! I'm starting to think it will never end for me.
My heart is still so broken and I feel so lost. I don't know if I should share these things with H or not. It would make him feel bad I know but aren't we supposed to share evrything concerning this? idk
Again, I don't want to make you feel worse, I just felt so conected to you when I read your post. I do wish you luck in turning your thoughts into positive ones:) I know how hard it is to fight with yourself on this on a daily basis! Hugs!!!

Still in a dark place today but at least in a place where I can count blessings with you all.
I am grateful:
* that I am still able to grow and learn
* for the support of friends and stranger friends who jumped in to try to help me through yesterday
* that my oldest son finally got a job and after this month should need little to no financial support except with college expenses
* for the blissful and perfect moments that my life has held. Even though they have only been fleeting moments, they have helped make life a sparkling tapestry of beauty
* for having had the amazing and fulfilling volunteer opportunities that I have over the last six years
* that my husband has been cooperative with recovery (especially compared to other CS I have seen)
* that I was given another day today
For my wonderful children who know of my infidelity and have watched our recovery and are actually inspired and proud. Who knew?
For my husband who has done so much to help me along the way of healing and rebuilding and who loves and adores me and is proud of all the hard work I have done and continue to do. It amazes me.
For the support network of accountability that I have.
for the fact that even though my work is hard, it gives me so much time to think and pray. That time has been where I do most of my dealing with myself and has been instrumental in my progress.
For DS and the opportunity to help people. Especially on Cheaters Anonymous board.
