i am new to this site.  I joined because I’m having a hard time dealing with a recent betrayal.  I dated a man from 96 to 98.  We parted ways relationship wise  but we have been friends for over 20 years .  Sometimes we go long periods without talking but we always seem to gravitate back to each other. When we reconnect it always involves some causal sex. 

 We didn’t speak much between 2012 and 2015 as I was dating someone and was focusing on that relationship. We started back communicating early 2016 and it involved casually sleeping together. He lives in Georgia i live in Florida.  LSS: his son was murdered in februray and i found out by reading the obituary he is married. From what i could find out he has been married since at least 2014. I was devastated. I confronted him about it 2 days after he buried his 20 year old son who he had with his first wife.  I bascially blasted him for making me his mistress without my consent.  I felt bad about my timing but at the end of the day I felt like this entire situation was his fault because he lied to me.  His response was the marriage was a mistake and he doesn’t love her and he really didn’t know why he didn’t tell me. It was a very emotional conversation. I am hurt and feel betrayed because our relationship ended back in 96 because of infidelity.  I feel pathetic because I let him hurt me a second time and i felt worthless because  I feel my only value to him was sex. I made the decision to part ways I told him that we could no longer have any contact because I could not have anyone around me who was a liar lacks character and wasn’t loyal to me. Im mourning the loss of our friendship. A friendship that I thought was based on trust and mutual respect. Any tips on making the hurt go away
