My DDay was 8/14/14. I struggled to keep my head above water for months. I did everything anyone posted here about rebuilding. I poured over every piece of advice given, yet I found myself miserable. I changed course a few months ago and changed my life. Today, there is a post on the rebuilding forum that says it all, from someone 5 years past DDay and still married...happily. It tells of what she WISHED she had done. If you are rebuilding, you owe to to yourself to take this advice from a "seasoned" BS.

1. This is a character issue, not a marriage issue, that is why putting in the CS lap works. If they are willing to change their character, the journey is worth you staying...otherwise, know that early and make your choices accordingly. When the character changes, you can then work on any marriage issues, because only then do you have a safe marriage.
