Husband of 7 yrs. moved me and our 2 kids from everything and everyone I know to NYC (where he's from). 1 month after we moved, I found out about his affairs w/ exes, coworkers and ontop of that he was dating someone way younger. If it wasn't for me, he wouldn't have had the money to move back home, or money to get an appt. car...Everything of his, I bought. He made more money than me but, he was very selfish w/ his money. When I found out about all his affairs I threw everything out of the appt. He came home and beat me in front of my kids. We had issues before the move but, verbal and physical abuse was very minimal compare to after he moved me away from my hometown. Almost everyday after I found out, for almost a yr. I suffered from verbal and physical abuse, everytime I tried to leave he'd scare me by saying that NYC is diff. my kids and I will be raped on the st. or get killed for no reason. Or he'd manipulate me to stay because of our family, made me believe he really loved me. He wouldn't watch the kids so I can work...he was dating and doing whatever he can while I was stuck at home with kids or helping his sick mom who, recently past away. I couldn't take it anymore so, I left and went to a domestic violence shelter with my kids. Because I love my kids so much and think it's unfair to mess w/ their relationship with their dad, I tried to give him visitations; but, because he doesnt want to pay child support, he intentionally started drama so ACS could take my kids from me and his family would get them and hand them back to him. I blocked him on everything and completely cut off all communications with him and won't allow him to see or talk to my kids anymore. I feel guilty because they want to talk to him so bad and they miss him but, with everything he's doing...I feel it's better to cut him off. What would you guys do?
