Now I have to be careful when listening to the radio. Because if certian songs come on it either makes me throw up and cry or just ruins my whole day. My whole life music has been the only thing there for me 100% and now it just doesn't feel the same. Especally when Ice Cube comes on. It just sends me into a dark place of confusion and anger.

tv shows and movies do the same for me. THere is just so much in the media where it is ok for cheating to happen, and all the triggers arround it

I was raised on country music and for four years I just couldn't have that on the radio. Finally I can listen to any music now and it doesn't hurt. My truck only plays country music.

Yes I agree, every song on the radio seems to speak to our situation on some level. Sucks cause I love music too, and now these songs have a whole new meaning.

Music can be a good option against depression & anxiety. Switch to Instrumental music. You get the beats without the words.

Better yet, face the music head-on. What's the worse that's gonna happen?! Build new memories to over-write the old painful ones. Crank it up and ride it out! The next time, you'll feel better, stronger that you made it ok and are doing just fine.
