G'day guys, I have been "away" for a long time. This is just a quick update on my status since then, just in case some of my old friends on here are still around.
My cheating, ex wife left me in 2009 to "find herself", amongst other things.
I was a bit pissed about this and went on a dating rampage for nearly a year and did some things that I am not proud of during that time.
In 2010, I was lucky enough to meet a lady who very quickly put an end to my nonsense and we have been together ever since.
In 2013, we were married and I am now lucky enough to be the husband of a lady who is the sweetest, gentlest and nicest human being I have ever met in my life.,
I guess that my point is that there is hope out there for all of us. If a broken down, burnt out and battled scarred old basterd like me can find love. then anybody can.

It is encouraging to know that there is hope for all of us to find happiness somewhere some time.
Your post really does encourage me, because I have had a profile on a dating site for most of this year in the hope of possibly making some nice guy friends or maybe even meeting the one special one - however so far I seemed to have been mainly the freak magnet. But I am not desperate so that is good, but having some fun guys to hang out with at times would be nice.
