Yea, first few weeks after finding it all out I had moments whe I'd totally broke down... Couldn't stop crying, my heart was beating like crazy, I was catching my breath, felt dizzy, weak... I was even at the point where I was one step from taking my own life, got a bunch of pills and was ready to do it. Only reason I didn't is my daughter, if it wasn't for her I wouldn't be here today. Thankfully it went away with time and I don't experience anything like it anymore, as a matter of fact, I barely even cry now. Hope you'll feel better soon :).

I have had panic attacks for several years now. They are scary and you think you're going to die. I finally went and saw a therepist and got on medication. I haven't had one in years. Came damn close on d-day.

YES! I was having them regularly.... because my reality had just done a 180 with the flip of his emotional light switch.
My doctor put me on an antidepressant and gave me Xanax for the moments that I was having anxiety attacks.
I don't know how'd I'd be doing without the antidepressants. My friends say I seem to be "doing okay".... I still feel dead inside. But, at least I haven't had a panic attack in the last few weeks....
Talk to your doctor. You may want to consider it. The panic attacks are terrible.

Yes .... best thing you can do is stay hydrated, eat even when you don't want to, minimize alcohol and caffeine, and just keep telling yourself what you are experiencing is a "normal" emotional and physiological reaction to an "abnormal" event.

If that does not work, there is a great workbook out there for panic attacks and meds. Just be careful, do not become reliant on the meds.

Yes. I had feeling out of breath, small pain in my chest. You'd thought I was having a heart attack. I guess in an emotional way, I was. That lasted around two weeks and was mostly when I was at work, I guess because I wasn't with her then and I feared what she might be doing. But it did cause panic attacks.
