2 weeks since d-day!

It's been 2 weeks since d-day, what an emotional roller coaster ride. Just been taking it day by day but sometimes minute by minute. I have received support and advice from a lot of people and I thank you all.

Cole50, thank you for the reply with the articles "Healing steps for the BS" and Stages of Grief". They really helped. Plan on giving them to the CS to read.

I have to say from the support I have received from DS and the MC we are seeing has helped me through this so far. I have kept my composure and been nothing but civil and loving to my CS.

Good for you veryhurt. It is a minute by minute experience that all of us know very well about. These are great people that help me immensly survive. The best advice I received was to focus on yourself. Eat, drink water and sleep as much as you can. i think I lost 30 lbs my first 2 weeks.....unfortunatley have gained most of it back :(

Keep going to counseling and check in here for guidance or a sounding board for ideas. It's just going to take time.

Glad they were of help, hurt. I think my wife, Gabrielle, and I will be collaborating on the remaining article for the Healing Steps for the CS. She's so busy she doesn't have a lot of time to write and think. lol.

But, yes, at your stage, it is getting through the next day, hour, or minute. I remember well being there, and thinking another one to two years on this journey seemed like such a long ways off. And here I am just days away from my first one year dday anniversary.
