*sigh*...if only we knew the answer to that question. Sometimes it seems like the lower your IQ, the less money you have and the worse you take care of yourself - the more fertile you become. maybe we should all quit our jobs, mooch off the government, sleep around with nameless men, become crack whores and chain smokers - bet we'd all get our BFP right away!

I've wondered this same thing for a long time now. As a teacher I am in contact with all of my students parents and some of them are wonderful and then there are the others. The ones that can only see the negative in their child or the ones that are abusive in some way. I've always thought it was unfair and now that DH and I are struggling with fertility issues this has been upsetting me more lately as well.

I just try and stay positive knowing that the time my students are with me they are safe, happy, and learning. At least when you are fostering kids they can feel safe and happy as well. Thanks for taking care of kids in need!

I'm thinking of opening a meth lab to fund my IVF and while I'm at it, I'll find a nice addiction to crack or heroin. Maybe that will help me. Not much else is working. Just kidding though. So as no one takes that seriously. LOL

Thank u for being a foster mom my nephews and niece got taken away from my brother and his wife. Now they have beautiful homes with good families. the one foster mom kept two of them.

it is so hard not to have people like Britney Spears and the seemingly undeserving parents have such an easy time with getting pregnant but that's because bad is louder than good and we miss out on the people who are otherwise like us who have been blessed earlier than we have. I don't know what to advise except to try to focus on the people you know that are good parents (although probably not as good as we will be!!) to know that conception happens to the good too.

You are amazing for giving those children a home and love while they are in a hard spot. You are an angel!

I agree with you...however sometimes I think it is because they need to have something to live for or to change for and we are just to stable to need that...then I cry myself to sleep and feel that maybe I should be the crack whore then i would have losts of children...

I wonder the same thing often. I wish I had an answer, but I don't. I have reasons I tell myself to help me feel better, but it still does not make complete sense.
I am thankful that those children have you and DH to comfort them and show them love. Even if they don't stay with you, your kindness will stay with them and could make a huge difference in their life.

We think about this ALL the time. I am a teacher (high school) and my DP is a police officer and it is crazy how many unfit parents there are. My DP arrests women all the time that are big time heroine addicts with perfectly healthy newborns. Where as I did everything "perfect" and I had a stillborn. I really think that the dumber you are the better your chances are to carry a healthy baby to term. That is why when/if I get pregnant again I am not going o over think it at all.

Isn't so frustrating. We do everyting right and get nada. Meanwhile these loser women who can care less get PG. Sorry if being harsh, it just really pisses me off, more then anything!

I was in the car with DH today coming back from our blood work that i am sure is going to be BFN and I said to him I am going to start doing crack then I will get PG! (I won't really do that)

If I had the answer to that question I would know all the mysteries of the universe. I know how hard it is to accept that people like that pop out kids left and right and we can't seem to get pregnant after eating right, exercising, having sex on the right day in the right positions etc. It is so frustrating!!
