been living here in mn for most of my life and the winters are darn cold. we have some bad weather comming tonight with wind chills down to 40 below. for those of you who dont know what that kind of cold feels like stick your head in your freezer and imagine it 40 degrees colder than that. it is supposed to stay that way all week and i am tired of it. i run a daycare in my home and today is the first day in almost the whole month that i have been able to get the kids outside because it was above 30 today. i cant wait for spring and summer. please send some warmth my way.

Missy- I am in Indiana and its cold her too!Not as cold as MN but still cool.
How long unti spring?

I don't know how you do it in that weather. I live right outside of New York City, and I can barely take the 20 degree weather we get. We haven't really gotten any snow yet, and believe me I'm not missing it.

Maybe its my latin blood, I am not meant to be in the cold :)

I lived in Winnipeg for 45 years. I KNOW COLD. I don't miss it at all!

ok the wind chill now is 35 below and is supposed to get down to 45 below tonight. schools are already starting to cancel class and some places around us are losing power. i hope we do not lose power tonight but thankfuly we have a fireplace for some warmth if that happens.

Im also from MN.Yesterday was horribly cold.Like -20 normal temp but with windchill almost -40.BRRRR.Im in Waseca and there was blizzard like conditions in Owatonna(just east of here) and they shut down Interstate 35 from Owatonna to Albert Lea.

I am from MN, too. It is so cold I just want to snuggle up in bed all day!
