HI everyone! I am very greatful for finding this site to vent out my emotions and agony. Really needing some hugs and support. Alittle about me:
Suffering from Pcos, which never gave me regular cycles. And a lot of weight gain.
Happily married for 5 years and counting
TTC for 12 months plus 3 months on fertility treatments
Started talking clomid 50mg in June, my body didn't respond so I given 100 mg in the same cycle with hcg shot and timed intercourse.
Cycle one was unsuccessful.
Cycle two. - 100 clomid. And decided to do IUI rather timed intercourse (it causes so much stress with my husband and I)
Great cycle, however ended in a chemical pregnancy.
On the third cycle started off on 100mg clomid, but my body didn't respond then went on 150mg clomid and recently found I have a good follicle however my lining is thin ...was put on estrogen and will be given progesterone. Had my IUI yesterday and today makes it 1dpo.
I'm struggling with the fatigue and stress and pains going through all this I know it has just being 3 cycles but ...it feels longer due to twice taking clomid twice in one cycle .....and the financial costs is frustrating.
When is the right time to say enough is enough to put my body through all this even though it's all worth it for the miracle ...

I think the important thing before deciding to say enough is to get lots of rest no matter what choice we make in life. Lots of rest when we don't feel so great. I'd love to hear your thoughts.
It's so hard and frustrating, you feel angry but you don't know who with, you feel like you are being punished and the sadness can be overwhelming I know how destroying it can be by myself. Weve already passed a long fertility way. But so many things are still ahead!!
Sometimes it takes 2 or 3 tries or even more. And hopefully your clinic will have a review of your case and come up with a plan for you trying again. And see if there is anything different they can do or advise.
Weve come up to egg donation recently. Our doc said this was the last option for us before surrogacy or adoption. Now, hopefully waiting for the transfer this week. Have my fingers double crossed as usually
I really hope you feel better soon. And I found when I was preparing to try again I regained my focus and hope and found myself a stronger person because of what I'd been through.
You will get there in the end, it's just a hard road for a lot of us. Keep hoping, keep strong. Wishing you so much luck for success next time xx
