What to expect from FET cycle?

Hi Ladies, I am epically excited about my FET for January. But was wondering what I can expect? I am pretty sure my period will show up tomorrow or the next day which I know means I have to start taking 3 progesterone suppositories a day and 2 tablets which I think are oestrogen? But not sure how long I have to take them for before transfer, how many blood tests or scans? Also what symptoms to expect??

Gee, I went through FET in April and now it seems I can barely remember it. It seems like there was one U/S scan to make sure I was recovered from my Fresh Transfer cycle and then I went back for the day of the transfer. I did progesterone shots instead of suppositories the whole way through 12 weeks. Estrogen patches through 8 weeks.

The FET itself is like a long pap smear, and I went back to work the next day. It's amazingly simple compared to the rest of the process.

The two blood tests are for testing for pregnancy about 10-14 days after the transfer, 2 days apart. You can take a home pregnancy test before then, but they're not as accurate with IVF. Good Luck & Best Wishes for your success!

I'm almost done my FET. I started off taking estrodiol pills 1 a day building up to 3 a day by week 2. I went back for 2 ultrasounds and blood work - one at week 2 and one at week 3. I guess it's been about 21 days since I started the estrodiol. I started the PIO shots a few days ago. Once the dr sees your ready they will mk u start the progesterone 5 days bf your transfer. As far as side effects I've felt good some days and crappy others. It's mostly bloating and feeling nauseas but nothing major. No headaches or bad mood swings. The progesterone is making me feel hungry all the time but again nothing major. I go on Tuesday for my transfer. I would equate the estrogen pills to taking BC pills they aren't bad at all. Thanks guys, I have been told I will have to take 3 estradiol tablets a day and 3 progesterone suppositories a day from day one of my cycle and that's it! I had a hysteroscopy a few weeks ago and the RE told me that the transfer feels the same as that so I feel pretty well prepped for that, I just have no idea on time frames and stuff!
