i just had my first shot of lupron today and i now need to take it twice a day. i was told that one of the most common side effects is headache but is there anything else i can expect. i did not think i would be able to give myself the shot but i did it.

I just noticed being tired and the slight dull headache...nothing else for me!

Im taking 10U 2x/day and I get the headaches alot and some dizziness but I think that is NATURAL, LOL!!! No, the dizziness I believe comes from the Gonal F. I was very moody the first day of Lupron. I jumped down DH's throat for something that happened years ago. I was very nasty Friday. Oh, by the end of the day, I feel pooped like I havent slept in days. Again, it could be the high dosage too. (Gonal F is 300U 2x/day)

When I was on Lupron, I became a complete ditz...couldn't remember simple things (like my best friend's last name), my reflexes were very slow (dangerous when driving!, etc. My RE told me that was a normal response. I didn't have any headaches or experience fatigue...just dumbness!

I was the meanest woman ever to live while on Lupron. Every thing anyone did was so stupid to me--I was a mess! And I had a bad headache.

Sounds just like me. Extremly tired and very irritable. Headaches too. But I just keep thinking it will all be worth it once I get pregnant!!

I'm like Sydney...I was an IDIOT. I swear I'm not dumb, but you feel like you are because you forget the simplest things (I'm talking SIMPLE-like my middle name). Makes you feel totally dumb. My husband laughs, because I'll just drift off when I'm talking to him, and he kinda figures out that I dont know the next word and he tries to figure it out, but...for the people who dont know...I'm sure they think I'm just an idiot.

It wasn't too bad for me. Was just really tired and had some hot flashes/night sweats for the 1st few days. Also had trouble sleeping (which didn't help the tiredness I'm sure!). I didn't get any headaches until I started Follistim.

It kicked my butt - I had to take a nap every afternoon after work!
