Waiting to see if embryos develop

I had my ER Saturday. I only got 5 eggs , 4 mature, and only 3 embryos. I now have to wait to see if any make it. I'm trying not to be stressed or worried but I am. Anyone else going through this now? I'm worried I won't have any to freeze.

I, too, had none to freeze. And yes, initially it IS discouraging. But remember: it only takes ONE embryo to make this whole process worthwhile! We only had two make it to day 5 for transfer, transferred both, and I'm currently 8 weeks along!

Good luck! Sorry that you're stuck in limbo right now. It's a tough spot, but you can do it! :)

Ugh ... One of the hard waits of IVF ... For each of my retrievals, we got 7 eggs, 6 of which were mature, 5 of which fertilized, and 4 of which survived the freeze. It sounds like you have a good fertilization rate, so keep your hopes up. Even if you get only 1 that survives, that's 1 -- and that's HUGE! Good luck :)
